Whew, it's been a while since I last posted. Life has been a little crazy. The wedding was a BLAST! I had a wonderful time and am so happy for Tandrew :) Pictures can be found here.
I started studying improv at Laughtrack Theater in Chinatown with Shannon Winpenny. I'm learning a lot.
I have spent a lot of time thinking about what I want to do next year. This will be my last year teaching, and my commitment with Teach For America and my school is up in June. So I have decided...drumroll, please...
to apply to medical school!
I've been talking about this forever, and now I'm finally going to do it. I still have a LOOOONG road ahead of me, before I even apply, but I'm excited to be working towards one of my goals. I really miss science and research! I am taking a Kaplan MCAT prep course, and the diagnostic this weekend demonstrated that I have my work cut out for me. You might not see blog posts as frequently, because I'm spending a ton of time studying. But I am also going to make an effort to get to the beach more often and visit the other islands - I have been to the Big Island and Moloka'i so far, still need to see Maui, Kauai, and Lanai! (I don't think I'll make it to private island Niihau). So I will try to have cool experiences and take lots of pictures when I'm NOT studying physics, chem, orgo, & bio (not to mention verbal reasoning)!

Good luck on med school applications. I think you will kick ass now that you have put your mind to it.
