About to Take Off

At Gate 25 of Honolulu International Airport (HNL). About to embark en route to Houston-Bush International. If I counted right, this is a 7.5 hour flight. I showed incredible restraint when packing. All I have to distract me are:

-3 books (1 research book, 1 classic, 1 contemporary novel)
-iPod Touch (but I forgot to download pages of my ebook!!! darn...) loaded with 3 new episodes of favorite TV shows (Mad Men, Gossip Girl, and newbie Fringe) and new music
-laptop (only 46% battery remaining, though, since Gate has no outlets)
-journal to write in once my computer runs out of battery (thanks Natalie!)

AND THAT'S IT. (Normally I'd bring a lot more books.) It's going to be a long flight.

But speaking of new music, here's an update on CODY WOOD, who was Treasurer of the Class of 2007 at Case and is just an awesome person in general... His new album "Nothin to It" is now available on iTunes. Check out his site and buy the album on iTunes! It's TERRIFIC!

Wow, I just realized I hadn't posted yet this month. Life has been absolutely insane! I haven't been getting much sleep; there just aren't enough hours in the day for work, class, and everything else. Speaking of which, I'm in class at UH right now. I should probably go and pay attention.

Exciting things: I'm going home in ONE WEEK for Tandrew's wedding in Pennsylvania!! I can't wait!! I'll be home for less than 72 hours, but if you're in Pittsburgh, hopefully I'll see you!
